Q: Do I need to book?
You can pay on the gate or in advance by using our website to avoid any queues. For events which require timed bookings, we strongly recommend booking in advance on the website to help ensure you get a ticket before they sell out.
Q: Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs on short leads are very welcome to explore the village with you.
Q: Is it wheelchair friendly?
The majority of the village is accessible via paved paths. However, due to the nature of the old Fort, there are some uneven surfaces and slopes.
Q: How long is a visit?
Most visitors spend around 45 minutes to an hour walking through the models, plus extra time for a picnic or ice cream!
Q: Is there parking?
There is public Pay & Display parking along the seafront esplanade right outside the village entrance.
Q:Are there toilets on site?
We do not have toilets on-site. There are public toilets at canoe lake.
Q:Do you offer family tickets or group discounts?
Yes we offer family tickets and group discounts for schools/nurseries and large groups.
Q:Is my ticket valid all day? / Can we leave and come back?
Yes, your ticket is valid all day.

Yes we have seating available should you want to take a rest and enjoy the view.

Yes we have cafe for hot drinks and warm food or snacks.
